The Agapornis Funk nace en Cádiz en 2008 como un grupo de versiones de funk y soul.

En 2011 graban su primer EP, con el que obtienen el 2º puesto en el concurso nacional de música negra Imágina Funk.

A partir de entonces se sucederán los conciertos
compartiendo escenario con The New Mastersounds, The Sweet Vandals, The Apples, Mad Professor...
